Would you like to sleep in somewhere besides the bed? Or if you need to give your bed to a guest? Sometimes you'll need to sleep in a bathtub.

Step 1

Make sure the bathtub is big. It must be long enough to stretch out your feet long enough, and it must be wide enough. If your bathtub doesn't meet the requirements and you really need to sleep in there, try to figure out a solution.

Step 2

Don't use the bathtub for a day. You need to make sure it is completely dry. If there is any shampoo or soap left in the bathtub, clean it out without using too much water.

Step 3

Get rid of all the toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, soap scrub, body wash, lotion, etc.) and replace it with some of your favorite stuff like books and a clock.

Step 4

Now it's time to set up the bed itself. Get a mattress designed for cribs, or stack 3-5 comforters, be sure to save one for it to go over your body. Get a bunch of pillows, put it around the area of your head. Put one sheet over yourself and one comforter.

Step 5

Go to somewhere in the bathroom and place the clothes you are to wear the next day. Place all your favorite stuff in the bathroom such as a laptop (careful!) ping pong ball, dartboard, etc. so in the morning you will be entertained. It will kind of be your little room.

Step 6

On the time you are scheduled to sleep, close the light, climb in your bathtub bed, close the sliding door/curtain, and then go to sleep.

Tips

  • The good part is that when in the morning you need to brush your teeth, the sink is right there, and when you need to go to the bathroom, the toilet is right next to you.

Warnings

  • Lock the door or else someone can turn the water on in the bathtub while you are sleeping.
  • People tend to like to take morning showers so you shouldn't stay sleeping until 11 o clock.
  • Make sure that you don't turn on the tap while you are sleeping!

Things You'll Need

  • Clock
  • Teddy bear (optional)
  • Some of your favorite things
  • Crib mattress or a bunch of comforters
  • Comforter to go over your body
  • Pillows
  • Sheet
  • Clothes for the next day
