Welcome! This is a step-by-step online instruction manual for how you can play Adventure Quest. First you will learn the website, following on to how to get started. Well, lets begin!
Step 1
Open up a new Internet tab. Type in the address bar: www.battleon.com
Step 2
This should take you to the main home page. You should see a big "Create New Account! button on the right hand side of the page, near the sponsors. Click on this button.
Step 3
Click the next button and clarify that you are over 13 years or older. Then insert a user name (this will not be your in-game name, just the account name to log in with) and a password. NOTE THESE DOWN! Last of all type in your email (this is just so you can clarify your account) and click next. You will see a 'secret code'. Note this down with your name and password, because if you lose your password then you have that code to retrieve it. (Kind of weird, having a code to retrieve a forgotten password on the same piece of paper as you're password is on!)
Step 4
Clarify your email and password by clicking next. Just fill in exactly what you put as your password and email before, and you'll be OK. Then click create, and you will be on your way!
- If it says the name is already in use, then you will just have to change it a little bit. Example. You put SDF123 as the account name, and it was taken. Change it to something like SDF1234 or SDFG123. Make a few digit or letter changes. This is not the persons name, just the account name required to log in.
Tips
- Make your password complex! Some people try to guess other peoples passwords, and if it is something like..."cat", they could easily get in.
- Always note down account names and passwords.
- Never share your account details with anyone.
- Staff members will not share your email with anyone, and will never, ever ask for account details. If you are being asked for this, they are impersonating staff and you should report them on the forums.
Warnings
- This game is really fun, but it can get boring if you play it too much.
- Somehow addictive for a while. Limit yourself to how many hours you play.
- Do not download additional software to 'hack' into the game! Recently there have been people that downloaded extra addons, and the creators of these hacking tools logged the name and password, thus stealing the account for themselves.
