Ever heard of the game 'Truth or Dare'? Well, this is another version. In India, it's popularly known as S.T.D. (or S.T.D.F., depending what version you're playing). It's a lot of fun, so here's how to play!

Step 1

Gather a group of friends. To play the game, you need two or more people, but at least three is needed if you really want to have fun. Also, try to gather a group of both male and female. It's more challenging that way.

Step 2

Choose a person to start the game. This person must say up to three consecutve numbers, starting from 1.

  • 1/ 12/ 123

Step 3

The next person in the line/circle, must do the same thing starting from the last number the last person said.

Step 4

Repeat step 3 until one player falls on the number 21.

Step 5

Ask the person to choose between S, T, or D (situation, truth, or dare).

Step 6

The person who said 21 must say one of the above.

Step 7

Tell them to do one of the following, according to what they chose-

  • Truth- Ask them a question which they must answer truthfully.
  • Dare- Dare them to do a certain thing. If they cannot/refuse to do it, they are disqualified.
  • Situation- Give them a situation and four options, which they must answer accordingly. E.g- Who would you save from a fire if all four were stuck in it? Options- John, Graham, Dave, Eric (These are just examples!)

Step 8

After the person has answered/done the dare, they start the game again!

Step 9

In another vesion, there's also something called Fire (F).

  • If they choose Fire- Tell them the names of four members of the opposite sex. They have to place one in the fire, one in the trashcan, and one in their heart.

Tips

  • Don't dare people to do stupid things.
  • If you want a dare, try and make 21 land on you!!!
  • People get annoyed if you say 20.9.
  • When playing one on one there is a mathematical formula that means you will always win. Think about it and you will figure it out. Clue: the numbers 2,3 and 4 may help
  • Don't choose to dare if you'll end up hurt or embarrassed
  • If there is a question about kissing, if you feel comfortable with it ... do it, but we suggest if you are dating someone, you shouldn't kiss anyone in this game, otherwise your partner could get upset and break up with you for cheating on them.

Warnings

  • Only play this with your friends, it can get embarrassing otherwise!
  • Don't do any stupid dares or dares you feel uncomfortable with.
  • This game is banned in some schools.
  • Make sure everyone that shouldnt be playing has left (e.g Parents, siblings etc)

Things You'll Need

  • A Good, nice, group of friends
  • A conscience
  • Bravery
