Try out the new raspberry-watermelon lemonade and add sparkle to any summer day.Watermelon is one of those perfect ingredients for summer. It is very plentiful and because of its name, watermelon that tells you that is only great as a drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 finely diced watermelon
  • Some raspberries.(few in fact)
  • lemon juice and sugar (for lemonade)
  • some ice for the chill
  • club soda
  • mint for garnish

Step 1

Start out with some diced watermelon. Place this one into the blender, also add raspberries, and start to puree. Very quick, very easy!

Step 2

If done, strain this blended mixture for removing the seeds of watermelon and raspberries. For doing so you can use a fine mesh strainer(best recommended) and try to to move some of that flesh around and those seeds because it is a fine mesh. It can get locked up very easily and the liquids would not pull out.

Step 3

And now its time for the lemonade feature.Mix up some lemon juice and sugar, stir them until they dissolve.Give it a quick stir, and place them in the refrigerator for 1 hour or so.

Step 4

After the long wait, you probably have a nice icy lemonade, pour this to the water melon-raspberries mixture.

Step 5

Give it a little stir, and then pull out a good tall clear beverage glass with some ice. Pour in some of the mixture, and to give it a good fest of touch, how about a little club soda. This is going to give some nice sparkle to the drink.

Step 6

Last but not the least garnish with just a touch of watermelon, a sprinkle of mint and there you go; a fantastic quick drink for the summertime.
