This is a prank that works great on people with bad tempers or people who hate you that drink Diet Coke. You can also ask them to pour you a glass of Diet Coke.

Step 1

Practice. If you cut the string too short the Mentos and string will fall in. If it is too long it will be visible.

Step 2

Take a piece of string and tie it to the Mentos.

Step 3

Screw the Diet coke cap on top of the string to were there is string on the outside and the Mentos on the inside. Try your best to make the Mento not seen.

Step 4

Cut the excess string (not too short!) so no one can see this little gag.

Step 5

When the victim unscrews the cap the Mentos will fall in and the victim will be sprayed with soda.

Tips

  • You might want to add more Mentos so the results are greater.
  • Try this during lunch at school, before/during class (especially horrible), or at any social gathering.
  • Create a good plot line (ex: "Oh hey, does anyone want this Diet Coke, I'm not thirsty." *explosion* "That's so weird! Didn't you see me drink it? Haha, you're wet!") so it doesn't seem too obvious.

Warnings

  • The victim might want to kill you after the prank.
  • It will get messy.
  • If the explosion is too strong, the bottle might explode.

Things You'll Need

  • Diet Coke
  • String
  • Mentos
  • Scissors
  • A victim
  • Sense of humor
  • Salt (optional)
