Have you ever wanted something to put your entire life story on? Well, maybe not your entire life story, but some of it? Well, a life bracelet, is basically that.

You write your story on a stretched rubber band, and then bring it back to it's normal shape. The story is then 'hidden' in a way, so nobody can read it until it is stretched again.

Step 1

Gather the Things You'll Need listed below. You will need a thick rubber band (but not too thick, it's going to go around your wrist); a gel pen, not a ball-point pen; and a box-like or book-like object, large enough to write your life story, but small enough so the rubber band won't break.

Step 2

Stretch the rubber band around the box/book. Make sure it doesn't snap!

Step 3

Look for any twists in the rubber band, and untwist them until the rubber band is flat.

Step 4

Write on the rubber band. Write about who you love or who you hate. Just write about serious things in your life.

Step 5

Let the rubber band dry for five minutes on the box. Do not touch it or it will smear.

Step 6

Carefully remove the bracelet from the box. Be very, very careful not to touch the ink. Let it dry for five more minutes. Then shine a light on it to see if there is any wet ink left. If wet ink is left, let it dry for five more minutes. Repeat as necessary.

Step 7

Put the bracelet on your wrist, and wear it fashionably. The words are not readable now, so you can wear it without people knowing your secrets.

Step 8

Stretch the bracelet to reveal the hidden story.

Tips

  • Let your life bracelet dry in front of a fan so you don't have to dry it as long.
  • Take off your life bracelet when bathing, or getting your hands wet.
  • If you have time, you can write on the back too!

Warnings

  • Do not lose your life bracelet. If somebody found it, that would be extremely embarrassing!

Things You'll Need

  • A thick rubber band
  • A gel pen, not a ball-point pen, they do not work as well on rubber.
  • A box-like or book-like object
