Even though the title says "Without Cheating", over the years of playing, people began to realize... wait... THERE IS NO WAY TO CHEAT TO LEVEL UP! There's no glitches, no faults, nothing. But what Infinity Ward and Activision didn't realize is that. There are still ways to level up quickly and here they are.
Step 1
Choose a noobish gun (M4, MP5, P90, or some other fully automatic gun...) and play in search and destroy. You get 50 points for killing someone and 100 for arming or disarming the bomb. Also, you could play a friend in a cage match and just keep killing each other until you level up to 55.
Step 2
As you complete the challenges, add stuff like Red Dot Sight, Silencer, ACOG Scope, M203 Grenade Launcher and Grip. Note you can only have one on at a time and that the only way you can get these extras is by doing the challenges.
Step 3
Pick a new gun, and upgrade these all the way to.
Step 4
When you have done them all, then get all the skins for them.
Step 5
Once you have completed all the challenges for the gun class, you can then get the gold gun that comes with it.
Step 6
Enjoy your new golden guns! (the gold guns are said to have special abilities. this is not true. there are only 3 differences. 1. though you will see the gun recoil, the crosshairs will stay where they are, 2. the color is gold, 3. the desert eagle is slightly stronger)
Step 7
There is one gold gun per class. Assault=Golden Ak 47, SMG=Golden Uzi, LMG=Golden M60E4, Shotgun=Golden M1014, Sniper=Golden Dragunov.
Step 8
To get the Golden Desert Eagle, you must get to level 55.
Tips
- Try just playing one on one matches with your friends and take turns killing each other.
- If you are going to play in a place that you have mastered, leave the lobby and re-enter until you find a map you haven't mastered so that you know all the maps well.
- Play the story on Veteran until you can play every mission without dying and it will affect your online gameplay a lot more than you think.
Warnings
- Don't get addicted. Bad things will happen.
- The only Golden weapon that has an affect on gameplay is the Desert Eagle. Don't harm yourself from to much play just to realize that your guns are the same.
- Don't throw your controller/mouse at the screen when you accidently press yes when they ask if you want to go into Prestige. Its easy to level back up.
Things You'll Need
- Xbox 360, PS3, or computer.
- Call of duty 4.
- A hard drive or a memory card to save your data.
- Patience. It will take a while before you level up.
- A decent mind so you don't get addicted.
