Double dutch is quite a hard spy language to learn but if you keep on practicing it gets a lot easier.
Step 1
Learn the different way of saying each letter, from A to Z. Each letter has a different way of saying it in double dutch. For example, A become Ava-gay.

Step 2
Understand that knowing how to say each letter in double dutch really isn't much help because your not going to go through and spell out your name by saying each one, you'll just be spelling in double dutch!
- For example, "Mary had a little lamb" becomes "Mar-va-ga-ry- have-a-gad a-va-gay li-vi-gi-tle la-va-gamb"
- Mary: Mar-va-ga-ry
- Had: have-a-gad
- A : a-va-gay
- Little: liv-a-gittle
- Lamb: la-va-gamb
Step 3
Learn that the starting of each word is always the same letter as the English word and the rest of the letters of the word will end in them, as in
- Letters: 'L'-ev-a-g'etters' Starts with an 'L' and ends with the rest of the remaining letters in the word, 'etters'.
- Everyone has been taught double dutch in a few different ways, this way is one of the easier methods.
Tips
- If you can't get it just keep practicing!
- The more you practice the better you will get! Good luck!
- If you sound out the words it makes it easier to learn
Warnings
- Do not say something secret to your friend in front of someone. You never know if they know Double Dutch as well.
- If you don't understand what this says don't worry. Many people know Double Dutch and wont tell their friends about it. It's really difficult to pick up if you don't know how to do it!
