Halloween is a great time of year, and of course you want to host a wicked Halloween party for all your friends and family. The problem is you don't know how to plan it! Well, worry no more because this article will promise you a great Halloween party that people will be talking about until winter time.
Step 1
Find an area to host your Halloween party (your house, backyard, river, etc.).
Step 2
Make some invitations! They don't have to be fancy. Even a small ghost shaped paper with where, what, when, who on them would be cool.
Step 3
Make some creepy food to display on a big table (try going to "How to make creepy food" for some good ideas).
Step 4
Make decorations, such as a cardboard cut out painted gray and written on would rock. Or, you could buy some fake spider web, and drape it on things such as, cupboards or the fridge, whatever you want!
Step 5
Tell everyone to dress up as something super scary(like a zombie or a devil, etc.)
Step 6
Print off or make your own scary stories to tell around a bonfire or in a dark circle.
Step 7
Pumpkins! Make sure to carve lots of pumpkins! You could even carve peppers or squash! Be creative!
Step 8
It's best to have your Halloween party on the day before Halloween, so everyone can still go trick or treating next day. However, you could have your party during either the first hour or second hour of Trick or Treat. This will give your guests the option of doing both on Halloween!
Step 9
Have some scary or not that scary movies handy. So that way, if you don't have anything to do, you're always prepared. Have some good movies such as, Beetle Juice, The Boogey Man, The Grudge, etc.
Tips
- Buy some fake blood to spurt everywhere, but remember if there are to be a lot of little kids at the party, be easy on the guts and gore.
- Organize a walk to the local forest (or drive if it's too far.) You could hire people to jump out and scare everyone! Usually 5 to 10 people is enough to really surprise your guests!
- Organize some games like hide and seek in the dark or bobbing for apples. You could also tie apples from strings to a tree, and see if people can bite them!
Warnings
- Make sure to set the party theme to the age of the children. You don't want crying kids at your party.
- Make sure nobody gets hurt!
