Don't you hate how you scroll through your ringtones and hear really bad ones? Don't you want to jam out to your favorite song when your friend calls you? Well here's how to get free ringtones on an enV.

Step 1

Music- Grab your iPod or computer (whatever has music on it). Turn the music up fairly loud but not too loud so that everything sounds scratchy. On an iPod, you want the music almost all the way up. Experiment with the sound a bit and see if everything sounds ok.

Step 2

Video- Open up your enV and put it on the video function. Press record on your phone FIRST, but have your mouse/ finger over the play button on your music device. When you have the song recorded, stop recording (obviously).

Step 3

Sending- Save the video. Now, go back to the video MENU once it's save and click the right soft button. Send the video to yourself. Wait for it to come in.

Step 4

Saving- Be patient and let the video load. Click the right soft button again. This time, click "Save As Ringtone." From here you can save it as what you want!

Step 5

Enjoy- Enjoy jamming out to your favorite songs! Be sure to tell your enV- less friends about what you did and watch them be jealous that they can't do that!

Tips

  • Volume- DON'T TURN THE VOLUME UP TOO LOUD! It'll sound crappy and your friends won't be jealous.
  • Avoid Frustration-Just be patient. Sometimes it takes a while for the video to load.
  • Memory-Sometimes when you try to save a ringtone, your phone might tell you "Memory Full." Just delete something.

Warnings

  • Don't turn the volume up too loud and make the ringtone sound bad!!!
  • Change songs often. Your friends don't want to hear "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" 6 months straight!
  • Be careful not to go over your bill when sending messages!

Things You'll Need

  • A Verizon enV
  • A music source
  • Video messaging
  • Quiet environment
