If you have Aero on Windows Vista, you'll probably want to use Flip 3D, but you might not know how to enable it. It's actually quite simple.
Step 1
Hold down " Windows Key + Tab ", which will show you live previews of your windows.
Step 2
Use your mouse to select the window you want to come to the front.
Step 3
Use the scroll button on your mouse to cycle through the open windows. You can also just keep pressing tab to switch from window to window.
Step 4
With some mouse-types you can use flip 3D by using the side scroll on your mouse.
Tips
- An easier method is to press the "Windows Key + Tab + Ctrl" buttons, now you will stay in that window and can use your 'left' and 'right' arrow keys, or mouse scroll.
- The 'old' windows switching windows method is still there in Vista - just press Alt + Tab, or alternatively, Alt + Tab + Ctrl, to get the same effects (albeit without the fancy 3D images).
- To use Flip 3D, you may need to enable Aero, which is not included in Home Basic.
