You can't stand the smell of your microwave? Are you too busy to wash it and too afraid of the cleaning products harming your family? The easiest way to clean it is the things right out of your refrigerator. It's safe and easy to do!

Step 1  

Take a lemon and and a knife and cut it in half.

Step 2  

Fill the microwavable bowl with water. Just half way up.

Step 3  

Put the lemon in the water.

Step 4  

Open your microwave.

Step 5  

Put the lemon in the microwave and close the door of your microwave.

Step 6  

Microwave the lemon and water up to 2 minutes.

Step 7  

After the 2 minutes open the microwave door and smell.

Step 8  

Voila! It smells fresh as....a lemon!

Step 9  

Take your mittens or wait till the lemon and water cools down and take out the bowl.

Step 10  

Discard of the lemon and water.

Tips

  • Wash the bowl BEFORE you put in the water.
  • This procedure only takes the smell away from the microwave. It does not clean it.

Warnings

  • Don't let children handle the knife. But if they do. They need adult supervision.
  • Do not look into the microwave. It might damage your eyes.
  • If you do not have mittens. Wait till it is COMPLETELY cool down.
