Tips
- Make sure you have installed an additional video adapter first.
- If you are unsure what to do, phone your PC's tech support and they will walk you through the steps.
- If your video is unuseful after you disable shared memory, you can try clearing CMOS by setting the jumpers in your mother board directly or by pressing a key (usually INS, but it may differ depending on your motherboard. Consult your manual) and power up your CPU. This will reset your BIOS settings.
Warnings
- Always make sure to turn off the power and disconnect the power cord then press the power button again to release the remaining charge before opening the case.
- Whenever working inside a computer, be sure to use a ground strap or remain in contact with the power supply or a metal part of the case ground yourself.
