Change fonts in your smart phone to personalise your phone or just put Matrix fonts so nobody can read the phone.

Step 1

Choose your fonts.

Step 2

Copy your fonts in "Storage/windows/Fonts" folder.

Step 3

Add the following key in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft][Fontpath] and [FontLink].

Step 4

Under "FontLink", add [SystemLink] key.

Step 5

Under "SystemLink", add value with string name: nina and string value is: \Storage\windows\Fonts\"name of file font.ext, real name" of the font when you open it.

  • Example: "\Storage\windows\Fonts\matrix.ttf,matrix" or "\Storage\windows\Fonts\Tahoma.ttf,Tahoma"
  • Under key "Fontpath" add new string value "\Storage\windows\Fonts" and string name is "Fontpath"
  • Reboot and amaze how you have changed every part of your smart phone

Tips

  • To go back to default. Erase [FontLink\SystemLink] and change value of the [Fontpath] to : \Windows. If that doesn't work then just copy your Tahoma fonts into your smart phone according to the steps above and rename old fonts since you will not be able to delete them.

Warnings

  • You may have problems setting back default fonts, which will lead you to hard reset my phone. Be prepared for that and backup.

Things You'll Need

  • Smartphone registry editor like PHM Registry Editor ver. 0.7 for smart phone.
  • ActiveSync connection
  • Manual on page: "How to Hard Reset my device"
