The Internet always comes in handy, but it's even better if it's on the go! Here's how to do it on your Nintendo DS.

Step 1

Order the Nintendo DS browser from the Nintendo Online Store or buy it off eBay.

Step 2

Wait for it to be shipped.

Step 3

Put the memory expansion PAK in the G.B.A. game slot. If you do not have a Nintendo DS Lite you will have to special order it for the normal DS.

Step 4

Put the DS card in the slot.

Step 5

Create a password.

Step 6

Configure your default internet settings.

Step 7

Test connections.

Step 8

Browse freely!

Tips

  • If it doesn't work, try the settings.
  • Go the Network. Use the button 'connection' to enter the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup. This setup works the same in every wifi game, so if you have another wifi game, this setup has already a network saved. If not, read the manual.
  • Use the browser to read this page.
  • If you still have questions, go the Nintendo website (on a computer) or read the manual.
  • For faster browsing, try mobile versions of websites. A good list of which can be found at http://cantoni.mobi/

Warnings

  • Make sure you bought the correct version for your Nintendo DS, because the memory expansion pack for the DS Lite will not fit in the original DS.
  • The Nintendo DS Browser does not play music or videos/movies.
  • This article will not work with the Nintendo DSi, as it doesn't have a second slot, and must be downloaded from the DSi shop.

Things You'll Need

  • Nintendo DS Lite or Nintendo DS
  • Nintendo DS Browser card with memory expansion PAK
  • Internet connection settings
