I have never seen that but I have lit book matches off of

Rocks/Stones, Bricks, Painted Poles, Even Glass and Bare Wood Poles.

Also, If your matchbook gets completely soaked

They will light again if allowed to completely dry out again.

You can either let them air dry or put them near a source of heat
