VTC shows you how to set the screen saver in Windows Vista. 1. Right click on the desktop and select personalize. Click the screensaver link. 2. Screen saver settings window appears where the windows logo is the default screen saver. The preview button shows you how the pictures and animation of the screen saver will appear on your screen. 3. You can stop the preview anytime by pressing any key on the keyboard. You can change the screensaver by clicking the screensaver button. You can select from 8 different screensavers or have no screensaver. 4. Preview shows how your selected screensaver looks. You can change screensaver settings by clicking on the settings button. The settings dialog box appears. 5. The default time that vista waits before starting the screen saver is 10 minutes, you can change this as you desire. 6. If you don't want people to use your computer while it's idle you can enable the "On resume, display logon screen" checkbox. 7. Apply the settings by clicking on the OK button.
