How to make play-dough at home

To make play dough at home put two cups of unbleached flour in a sauce pan. Add two cups of water, one cup of salt, two tablespoons of vegetable oil, and one tablespoon of cream of tartar to the flour. Stir the mixture with a wood spoon over low heat. Keep stirring until the dough clumps. Take the dough out of the pan and knead it with your hands. Separate the dough into four balls. Now add food color to the balls and you have your own home made play-dough.
