What a helpful and lovely lady! Of course we must be very thoughtful, compassionate, and empathetic when considering serious subjects such as euthanasia, even if we have strong views on the subject. I'm sure there are many that find this idea quite foreign - In an ideal world we wouldn't have to consider such concepts, but ultimately you never know what life may throw at you, and I feel it's always important to have choices, especially for those whom are tortured by pain with a medical condition that can't be cured or treated well (if at all). As it is more than a scary thought to be faced with a long, slow and painful death. Although we live in an age of science, there are still many things that we have no clue about (even if the medical and scientific community dislike admitting this!). Obviously we should always try and make use of what help there is available, but when you've exhausted all other options, as many brave battlers of various medical illnesses have, it is a positive thing (in my humble opinion) that we have people like Betty helping to get information such as this into the public arena. So I thank lovely Betty for her very well presented video ;o>

Betty's talking about sodium the entire time, so why does the description of this video say it focuses on sulfur?

I'll watch it again, but right off it seems rather more complicated than I would have liked, to bad there is not a reliable source for this type of thing available as a choice of dignified exit.

I've only got one question... could you post something about how to make one of these, and the materials needed? I think my husband would be interested in making something like this.
