You should know Bloo from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends if you clicked on this. So if you want to find out how to make a stuffed animal without the high cost from hot topic or anywhere else, read on.

Step 1

How To Make a Bloo Doll

Take a plain colored beanie, I suggest blue for Bloo, but you can use any color you want. Check how big it is, and eyeball a good amount of unused but clean socks (or White cloth) that could fit inside.

Step 2

How To Make a Bloo Doll

Leave out two socks, or a part of white cloth out. Take an item that has a medium sized circle on the bottom and trace and cut out 2 circles on the cloth or socks. I suggest an air freshener can or something close.

Step 3

How To Make a Bloo Doll

Eyeball the center of the circles and sew on a black button for each. If you want to make the eyes crazy, place them differently.

Step 4

Find where you'd want to place the eyes, Of course on the top, but if you want them slanted, straight, or far apart, its up to you. Sew them on with a white thread so it doesn't look like he has a black eye, unless thats the look you're going for.

Step 5

How To Make a Bloo Doll

Take a marker and draw out a mouth. I drew mine closed so there isnt much work to do. Then sew the markered area.

Step 6

How To Make a Bloo Doll

Stuff the rest of the cloth or socks inside the beanie and close it up with a matching color thread. You're done!

Tips

  • This would be a great gift for a Foster's fan.
  • You don't have to sew by hand, i was just afraid of the sewing machine.
  • Instead of stuffing with cloth or socks, you can also use beans for a beanie-bag type stuffed Bloo.

Warnings

  • Don't poke yourself while sewing.

Things You'll Need

  • Plain beanie
  • Needle and Matching color thread
  • Pile of old, but clean socks (or white cloth)
  • 2 black buttons
  • A circular item
