Here is how to hack the popular MMORPG MapleStory.

Step 1

Understand the risks. Any kind of hacking is against the rules of the game and will get you banned from play if you are caught. Server hacking (packet hacking) is against the law in some countries, since those packets and servers are the property of the company. If you hack the servers it is just the company policy on third party hacking tools. You can find the policy under Support.

Consider that hacking is a little pointless and takes away from the experience of the game. Ask yourself, what's the point of hacking - it doesn't make you any better at game play.

Step 2

Learn the values to change. The settings you need to change are stored in hexadecimal, or Base-16 notation which means they will be 8 digits long and sometimes contain numerals. So set new values you will need to express those in hex also. For example let's say you have 100% speed and you want 120% speed. Pretend that the value for 100% speed is AAAAAAAA and the value for 120% speed is BBBBBBBB.

Step 3

Find and Download the tools. To do these hacks you will need two software tools. We cannot give you links to these tools as they never stay in the same place and their names change as the company is vigilant about shutting these programs down. You will need to do your own Google search to find them:

Download a cheat engine.
Download a bypass for Gameguard, software put in place to protect the game from hackers. MOST ARE PRIVATE SO MAKE YOUR OWN

Step 4

Hack the game.

Run your Bypass software.
Open your cheat engine.
Open Maplestory.
Select Maplestory as the process you want to hack in the cheat engine. You can set Maplestory as the default if you wish.
Log in and get to where you want to hack.

Step 5

Use your cheat engine to find the value you want to change. In the example AAAAAAAA:

Change it to the new value, in our example BBBBBBBB.
Press Confirm. Sometimes you have to tick "ZF" to activate that hack (Ctrl+R on your Cheat List).
Check to see if it worked. If the hack did not work then you may have made a mistake or the hack may be patched.

Step 6

Know the values. To get your started here is a list of common values to change:

Godmode: A value that you change so you never get hit.
Dupex Vac: You need to add some code so the monster comes to you.
Meso hack: You need to hack server.
HP hack: You need to hack server.
MP hack: Unless you are a mage, you need to hack the server.
Level hack: You have to hack server
NX hack: Server hack too.
Jump hack: Disconnects after 3 seconds of flying.
Speed attack: Disconnects you to login server after 5 seconds of mass attacking.

Hacking for mesos/nx is impossible since that data is server sided, its illegal but the latter are completely possible, more info at cheat engine forum.

Tips

You need new values after each update because they change.
Hacks like godmode, vac, speed atk, are just things that you edit in your game, they do not involve the servers.
Don't hack on your main account; if you get banned then all your memories are gone! unless you only get banned for a month. (WARNING you'll lose ur char on highscore.
If you get disconnected then you did it wrong/it's patched.
Don't hack at Ant Tunnel or Hunting grounds, this may cause undesired results.
If you want to hack at Ant Tunnel use a fly hack to jump up onto one of those platforms at the very top and then start vaccing everything onto your platform. It's easy, and no one can report you because you're out of sight.
MapleSEA is easier to hack. There are weird hacks in SEA like shadow partner, miss hack etc.
In some cases, Windows Vista will prevent Gameguard from making changes to your computer. This could also function as a bypass.
You don't need a bypass if it is already included with a UCE.
Some of the worst spots to hack are: Ant tunnel, Drakes Meat Table, Florina Beach [Although the exp is great around 40-50 as a ice mage], I cant think of any off the top of my head ..
Quick hacking guide to become a bishop. Once you're a cleric, which is one of the faster classes to level [plus they make alot of meso] are lupins till about 50 then you go to Ghost Ship map Gs1. If you cant get a spot, buy a map or go to every channel and ks a bit until they start flaming you.
The best way not to get banned is to get about 20 levels a day and don't play for a couple days. Honestly, anyone with a fair amount of hacking knowledge could tell you, you could get to 120 in 3 days.
Don't leech, the best hacks are the one YOU make. Why? The chances of it getting patched are very slim. You don't have to give the public everything you find.
If you want to make you're own hacks, learn ASM, C, and basic C++. Absorb everything. Read every tut you come across. Once you've learned a fair amount and can make amateur hacks, learn more till you are bright enough to be in a closed community. When you're around some of the best minds, you excel at an unbelievable pace.

Warnings

The more recent updates make it almost impossible to hack.
Don't level up too fast or you may get banned; GM's patrol all maps looking for people who may be hacking.
Server hacks get you 10 years in jail plus a fine in South Korea, where the server is located.
You can still be caught if you're off map. When somebody Changes channels, you are visible for about 1 second, then on their screen you appear to go off map. So stay away from change channel spots.
If somebody enters your map, immediately log off! You cannot Change Channels (CC) with your hacks.
Don't talk to friends or socialize as they will track you!
Don't hack in popular areas; People will report you.
Try not to die, it could mess you up as you get put somewhere else.
Try not to download the Cheat Engine from the wrong site; it will give you a nasty virus!
