Twitter just announced this new tool that allows anybody to embed theirs or anybody else's tweets on almost any webpage or blog post. It's called Blackbird Pie, and this video tutorial shows you exactly how to use it. It's fairly simple, but nonetheless, watching this vid will help you understand the process. No longer is there a need to use screenshots or screengrabs to repost tweets, you can embed them!
The new Blackbird Pie tool on Twitter provides you with embed HTML codes to post, just like YouTube provides for their videos. This is a step-by-step guide on how to use Blackbird Pie.
1) Find the tweet you want to embed: For this go the twitter page and click on the time just below the tweet, something like "about 3 minutes ago". After this, you will be moved to the tweet’s page.
2) Copy the URL of the tweet. The URL is found on the address bar of your web browser. You could also right-click on the time in the previous step and simply "copy link location".
3) Go to Blackbird Pie, enter the URL in the specified box, and click "Bake it".
4) After a second, the code will be displayed. Copy the embed code and paste it on your blog post or web page.
