In order to block websites on your computer, you will need the address for the website that you want to block. Gather that information first. Then, click on Start. Then, go to Run. Next, type in the following: c://windows/system32/drivers/etc. Click OK.
Find the folder that says Host. Click on the Host folder. Next, type in 127.0.0.1.www. Place the website that you want to block here. Add it to the list of blocked sites. Click on File. In the drop down menu, find Save. Click on Save. When you save it, the website will be blocked. To unblock a website, you will just need to go back to the folder and remove the email address.
