You explained the process but you forgot to mention important part: YOU HAVE TO WEAR GLOVES.
most importantly wear gloves, and some needle gauges now are designed for subq administration where needle aspiration is not required anymore.
Not supposed to recap the needle!!! And some books say that massaging is not actually that effective
