How to machine a cylinder block

This video shows how a cylinder block is machined after it's been disassembled and sent off to the machine shop. It shows the process of align honing the main bearing bore that is needed before anything else can be machined. Then the block deck is leveled and machined as needed for the new head gaskets to seat properly. And finally the cylinder walls are bored out just shy of their new size, which will be achieved when they're honed. The second video shows honing the cylinder walls.
