How to find inverse functions with two methods
Education • Math
Need a little help with your math homework? No problem, the Math Centre offers students video tutorials that will provide as a reference guide for self-study. Students get self-study resources targeted to the needs of individual courses, and teachers gain generic mathematics support and study materials for use with students.
In these educational videos you'll get practice and revision materials, a chance for online practice exercises in the many branches of mathematics, including algebra, arithmetic, complex numbers, differentiation, drug dose calculations, finance, functions and graphs, geometry, graphs for health sciences, guides and case studies, integration, matrices, mechanics, numeracy skills, sequences and series, statistics, trigonometry and vectors.
This instructional math video will teach you about functions and graphs.
An inverse function is a second function which undoes the work of the first one. In this unit we describe two methods for finding inverse functions, and we also explain that the domain of a function may need to be restricted before an inverse function can exist.
