How to use melted pine sap to haft points For hafting points, melt pine sap and strain it while it is mixed with some turpentine. Then, mix the clean sap with horse, cow or rabbit manure and beeswax. Beeswax is NOT historically correct(nor is horse manure), but helps make it more flexible.
