Simply thank you, just stumbled upon this site, I'm hooked. Great video tutorial with efficiency and great camera work. Directed a shoot with Red last week and now I know wtf is on that thing. :)

I have to comment on the mounting of the follow focus...the first time the video shows the follow focus being mounted where the knob would be on the right side of the camera, that is INCORRECT...if you look closely that video image has been flopped....(look at the RED logo on the lens cap is backwards)...that type of follow focus can NOT be flipped from one side to the other...the gears wont swing in far enough if mounted with the knob facing the right side...it can only me mounted correctly with the knob facing the left side of the camera. In order to have a knob on the opposite side of the camera, you must have an extra follow focus knob that slips into the assembly on the right side.
