It's called char cloth which is basically cotton which has been baked in a tin untill black. Very usefull for starting fire as it catches on sparks and smolders for a good while.

No it's the same stuff if you had a heat pad with the iron clicker in it, It was just a weaker mix of the same chemicals, The reason for the clicker was to start the reaction, you could do the same... more

its a fake is not water its a chemical reaction caused by the movement its the same stuff as hot ice if you do a search on here. i had a heat pad with the same stuff in.
